At Christ United Methodist Church, UMM is a committee for any male that is thirteen or older. The primary purpose of the UMM is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all of their relationships. Also, the UMM is a place of fellowship for men who seek to know Jesus Christ and want to grow spiritually and to seek daily his will. The UMM have a meeting the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm and also have other meetings at special times. The officers of the UMM are President: Mike Traficante, Secretary: Mark Diefenderfer, Treasurer: Gary Shupp, and Spiritual Leaders: Tim Shear and Chip Socks. The UMM takes part in Habitat for Humanity, VISION, Adopt-A-Highway, Concession Stand for fall soccer games, Men's Ecumenical Prayer Breakfast, Blood Drive, "Meals for Millions", and their annual golf tournament in fall.
At Christ United Methodist Church, UMW is a committee for any female that is thirteen or older and the Pastor. The purpose of the UMW is to support and promote mission work throughout the world and to be an advocate for women and children. The UMW have a meeting the first Wednesday of every month where they pray, have devotions, and have fellowship. Margaret Herrala is the president of the UMW. The UMW sponsor or take part in the Shoebox Project, Christmas Stockings and Easter Baskets to Church Women United to be distributed to nursing homes, send get-well and sympathy cards to people who are ill and betrayed, Annual Turkey Dinner, Blood Drive, and the Shoe Box project for the Red Bird Mission in Kentucky. The UMW also have a Mothers Day Tea and a Christmas in July Dinner.
The mission of the Friendship Circle at Christ United Methodist Church is to raise money for the church. The Friendship Circle is a division of the United Methodist Women and they meet the third Wednesday of every month to discuss ways and ideas of making money for the church. Three popular items the Friendship Circle sells are their pasties, chicken pies, and peppermint crunch candy. They also hold a mother daughter social every year. The president of the Friendship Circle is Sally Free.
The Sunshine Circle is a division of the United Methodist Women that meets every Tuesday from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm to make crafts, quilts, and socialize. The Sunshine Circle also donates money to groups and charities that need help. The president of the Sunshine Circle is Shirley Wetzel.
The Administrative Council is a committee for any member of Christ United Methodist Church. The Administrative Council is the governing body of the church and they perform routine business of the church. They meet every other month on the last Monday of that month at 7:00 pm. David Lear is the chair of the Administrative Council.
Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC)
At Christ United Methodist Church, the SPRC's mission is to work with the church's staff so that the mission of the church is accomplished. The SPRC meets every month and the chairperson is Tim Shear.
The purpose of the Finance Committee at Christ United Methodist Church is to provide funding and financing of our church program and staff. They meet the first Monday of every month when necessary and the chairperson is Dan English.
The trustees at Christ United Methodist Church is a group of nine members chosen by the pastor whose purpose is to upkeep the church grounds. They meet on the third Monday every other month at 7:00 pm and the president is Joe Hersh.
